State of Wisconsin Honors Westby Cooperative Creamery on 110th Anniversary.

At a ceremony on October 8, 2013, Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch and State Assembly Representative Lee Nerison presented Proclamations by Governor Walker and the State Legislature.

The Lt. Governor and others also toured the new Distribution Center which totals 10,000 square-feet of floor space and rises 3-stories high with 5-deck racking to store up to 1000 pallets. About 10-to-15 trucks per day load up with manufactured dairy food products, including: Cottage Cheeses, Sour Creams, Dairy Dips, Yogurts, Cream Cheeses and Hard Cheeses. Westby Cooperative Creamery is the only manufacturer of cottage cheeses in the state of Wisconsin.

Founded in 1903, Westby Cooperative Creamery is one of the oldest cooperatives in the state. Today, 170 family dairy farm member-owners supply over 125-million pounds of milk to produce over 25-million pounds of award-winning cheeses and cultured dairy food products, annually. Revenues topped $50-million in 2012, with growth continuing at a record-setting pace.
