As a farmer-owned cooperative, and producer of cultured dairy products and hard cheeses for over 100 years, Westby Cooperative Creamery has a unique perspective on the dairy industry, from farm-to-fridge and everything in between.

The dairy business is a daily business. Cow care is 365/24/7, with cows being fed and milked at least twice a day, every day of the year. That's how everything starts at Westby Cooperative Creamery, with fresh milk delivered daily by our member-owners to produce the highest quality and best tasting dairy products.

Westby Cooperative Creamery is unique in many ways, with one distinction being the milk that our patron-members produce. All of our members produce r-BST-free milk*, some of which is also certified-organic milk. From these two milk sources our creamery has the flexibility and creativity to produce dairy-food products that meet the needs of a diverse and changing food industry marketplace. (*No significant difference has been shown between milk from rBST/rBGH treated or non rBST/rBGH treated cows.)
